APPLE ANNOUNCES IT'S INTENTION OF MAKING A SOCIAL MEDIA APP CALLED SNAPPLE

The need for a swift means of information dispersal can not be over emphasized and at the moment has grown even more because nowadays so many things are happening and people want to be carried along. Social media is now what is trending and if your not in any of them, then you are definitely missing out on a lot of gists. Any current information been passed first goes on social media before it gets out there. Even in mobile app industry, it looks like every mobile app developer now wants to make a social media application because it's the surest way to to make it as a programer. And from the looks of things, It seems everyone is following Snapchat these days: first it was Instagram, next Facebook, and now Apple.

Based on the report gotten from Bloomberg, it seems Apple is working on a new video sharing application which it named SNAPPLE which will grant users the ability to record a video and apply filters and drawings. It is been designed by the teams behind Final Cut Pro and iMovie. These videos been recorded can then be shared directly with your contacts via iOS or through other social media networks such as Twitter (although Facebook was curiously omitted from the report which was given).

At first, it sounds like Snapchat, but then “an app that records videos with filters” isn’t exactly a very specific description. Still, it shows that Apple sees the necessity to get involved in the social media market.

The intention which apple has in mind is to make the application usable with just one hand, enabling you shoot, edit and upload in “less than one minute,” according to Bloomberg’s sources. A prototype version of the app shot in a square aspect ratio, although that might not be conclusive.

It’s quite nice to see Apple deviate from iMessage as its primary medium for communication. The application is said to be standalone and downloadable at the App Store, but there’s still a chance that Apple might develop the application into the existing camera application.

If Apple really has the intention of competing with Snapchat, it’ll need to also create an Android version as well. That's for sure, but it wouldn’t be the most weird concept after it released the Apple Music.

But don't get too excited over it, Apple is reportedly aiming for an obsecure 2017 launch which still seems quite far, and there’s always a slight possibility of it not seeing the light of day.
