SONY ANNOUNCES THAT VERY SOON YOU WILL BE ABLE TO STREAM AND PLAY PLAYSTATION GAMES ON YOUR WINDOWS PC

The famous video game company Sony made an announcement that its PlayStation Now service, which enabled you to stream games from the cloud to your PS3 and PS4, will in a matter of time become available for streaming with Windows PCs as well.

This service will grant you the ability of streaming and playing popular PlayStation games, includes titles from franchises like Uncharted, God of War and Ratchet & Clank, on your PC. At the moment, PlayStation currently has over 400 games on offer and also includes blockbuster hits such as The Last of Us and Journey.

It plans to lunch first in North America, but at the moment, no rollout date has been made known by Sony. At present, the cost of a PlayStation is $19.99 a month; one can also try it for a week for free.

This September, the company has plans of starting up the sale of a new DualShock 4 USB wireless adaptor just for $25, which will allow you to connect a PS4 controller to your windows PC or Mac. The device will also work with PS Now as well as the PS4 Remote Play feature which streams games from your PS4 console to your desktop, making it possible for you to play the game outside the living room. it will also work just fine with a wired controller.

Sony says it’s currently working on bringing PS Now to Mac. Isn't that great? If you're a Mac user, am sure you will be excited knowing that you can now enjoy your favourite PlayStation games on your Mac.

The idea of bringing console games to PCs is a very clever one, owing to the fact that Microsoft has already announced a similar idea in the form of Xbox Play Anywhere; the program will ensure the availability of select Xbox games for downloading and playing on PCs and also, sync achievements and progress on both of the platforms.
