One of the gifts of the mobile phone is the gift of choice or in the technology world called CUSTOMIZATION. This the ability of the user of the device to change a default setting in that device. Electronic devices especially mobile phones and PCs gives us that chance of bending our device to suit our taste or to our satisfaction. Some of the things available for customization in the mobile include wallpaper, Ringtone, etc you can virtually change everything except those that are Read-only (you can only view them but you are not allowed to customize them).
Do you know that you could customize your own notification sounds? E.g your ringtone, text message tone and even your whatsapp notification tone. This was made possible by the manufacturer because not everyone likes the normal notification tone that comes with the phone and some people just like doing things their own way. Imagine a notification that says "Excuse me Mr. Michael but you have a new notification" won't that be great?
Well, If you are one of those that buy the the idea, then you are at the right place because am going to show you how to type some letters, change it to sound and save it as a tone on your device.
The application which i used for this is called TS SPEECH SYNTHESIZER.apk which can be downloaded HERE
After downloading, follow the steps below:
HOW TO CONVERT A TEXT TO A SPEECH.
1) Install and launch the application.
2) Type your intended text in the space provided like in the image below.
3) Select SYNTHESIZE to listen to the sound and then go to option by tapping the option key on your phone and select SAVE AS MP3.
4) Type the file's name and then SAVE.
You can now use it as your ringtone or notification tone by going to your phones ringtone settings and selecting it as your preferred tone. This can be done for all notifications.
