HOW TO TRANSFER FUNDS FROM ONE BANK TO ANOTHER USING USSD CODES WITHOUT INTERNET

Security is one issue which can never be over emphasized when it comes to the world today. It is imperative that all personal belongings including money should be kept safe and secure in order to avoid unforeseen incidents such s robbery etc. it is in pursuit for this security that the banking system has introduced different transaction methods into their system such as the use of ATM services, Internet banking, mobile banking and use of USSD codes. Another reason why these various alternatives where put in place was due to the fact that banking halls nowadays are now crowded during banking hours which tend to pose a great problem to their quest of providing effective service. All these made them come up with a different means of rendering service to customers known as the cashless policy. The cashless policy includes all the above mentioned options
.

You might be wondering what a USSD code mean. USSD stands for Unstructured Supplementary Service Data. It is sometimes referred to as Quick codes or Featured codes. It is a protocol used by GSM cell phone users to communicate with the service provider's computer. It could be used for WAP browsing, prepaid callback service, mobile-money transaction services, location-based content services, menu-based information services, and as part of configuring the phone on the network.

A simple example of a USSD code is the number which you use in recharging airtime and also the one you use to check your airtime account balance for any of the networks either MTN, Glo, Airtel or Etisalat (i.e #124#, *123*pin# for AIRTEL network).

One of the reasons why people prefer using USSD codes is because they are known to be a safe and secure means of communication. They are also very easy to use all you need to do is just to dial a code and the instruction that follows. In times of emergency, it is the best alternative to use for making transactions such as money transfer.
